The Comedy Tree and plaque are in the Shakespeare Garden in Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada.
Although it was planted by a famous actress, it is not named 'Comedy' because of her. It is named 'Comedy' because it pays homage to William Shakespeare comedy works.
The plaque says:
was planted by
the well known actress
13th January 1921
The Comedy Tree and Plaque are located just south of the Shakespeare Garden and Rose Garden on the west side of Pipeline Road.
