August 16-18, 2022: Crews will be cutting back brush along Stanley Park Drive from 7am to 1pm. There may be some traffic stoppages during this period.
July 31 -Thurlow St., Robson St., Denman St., and Beach Avenue will have closures for the Vancouver Pride Parade. Sunset Beach Park will be used for a festival.
Parts of the Stanley Park Seawall from Second Beach to Lumbermens' Arch AND from Devonian Harbour Park to Avison Way will be closed from 9am to 1pm for the BMO Vancouver Marathon.
A section of the Stanley Park Seawall from Third Beach to Prospect Point remains closed due to storm damage. It is anticipated that it will re-open by the end of April 2022.
April 24, 2022 8am-11:30am - Car and Bus access to Stanley Park will be extremely limited or non-existent in the morning due to the Vancouver Sun Run. The Sun Run runners will run down Georgia Street, then turn left onto Denman Street, then onto Beach Ave/Pacific Blvd. So, when the runners are running, both the Georgia Street and Beach Ave entrances to Stanley Park will essentially be unavailable until all the runners have passed.
The Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park Causeway through Stanley Park will be completely closed overnight for work on the counterflow lights upgrade on the following days:
Note that the sidewalks will remain open.
May 1, 2022 6:30am - 11am -All roads in Stanley Park will be closed for the BMO Vancouver International Marathon. The Stanley Park Causeway will remain open.

The transit reroutes for the Celebration of Light Fireworks and Festival are: Bus #5, #6, #23 will be rerouted west of Burrard. Skytrain and Canada Line will run at peak service levels in the evening. Last trains out of Waterfront at 1:15am! Seabus will run every 15 minutes until 12:30am then every 30 minutes until 1:22am which is the last sailing out of Waterfront station.
